 Destinations: Negombo – Sigiriya – Dambulla – Kandy – Nuwara Eliya – Galle – Colombo

Detail Itinerary

Day – 1: AIRPORT – NEGOMBO (No meals)

• Arrive in Sri Lanka. You will be met by our representatives and transferred to Negombo.
• Overnight stay at hotel in Negombo.

DAY – 2: NEGOMBO – SIGIRIYA – DAMBULLA (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

• After breakfast proceed to Dambulla.
• Sigiriya Rock Fortress – Home to the 5th Century “Fortress in the Sky”, is also known as Lion Rock Fortress (Excursion will take approx: 3-4Hrs for climb & decent).
• Lunch at a Restaurant- Western/Sri Lankan Buffet Meal.
• After lunch, continue to Dambulla.
• Dambulla Cave Temple – Dating to the First Century B.C., the caves of Dambulla sheltered King Walagamba during his 14 years of exile from Anuradhapura. (Excursion will take approx: 2Hrs for climb & decent).
• Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Dambulla / Sigiriya.

DAY – 3: SIGIRIYA – MATALE – KANDY – NUWARA ELIYA (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

• After early breakfast proceed to Kandy.
• City tour of Kandy: including Upper Lake Drive, Market Square, Arts & Crafts Centre, Gem Museum.
• Kandy – the hill capital, venue of the annual Perahera and was also the last stronghold of the Sinhala Kings. Lunch – Western Sri Lanka Buffet Meal.
• Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic – ever since 4th Century A.D, when the Buddha’s Tooth was brought to Sri Lanka, the relic is considered Sri Lanka’s most prized possession.
• Proceed to Nuwara Eliya. (Travel time approx: 2hrs), En route visit Tea Plantation & Tea Factory
• Tea Factory & Tea Plantation – (Excursion will take approx: 45 minutes).Afternoon continue to Nuwara Eliya.
• Nuwara Eliya – The ‘Little England’ of Sri Lanka, set against beautiful backdrops of Mountains, Valleys, Waterfalls and Tea Plantations. (Excursion will take approx: 1Hr).
• Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

DAY – 4: NUWARA ELIYA – GALLE (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

• After early breakfast proceed to Galle.
• Lunch – Western Sri Lanka Buffet Meal.
• Galle (Excursion will take approx: 1hr)
• The Dutch Fort: The massive Portuguese & Dutch Fort which is a “World Heritage Site” and also oldest landmark.
• Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Galle.

Day -5: GALLE – COLOMBO (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

• After breakfast proceed to Colombo.
• Lunch – Sri Lankan Buffet Meal.
• Colombo – a drive through the city taking you to the busy commercial areas as well as the tree-lined residential, Cinnamon Gardens. Visit Fort – the former British administrative center and military garrison, Sea Street – the Goldsmith’s quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area, Dutch Church of Wolfendhal dating back to 1749. Also visit the BMICH – see the replica of Avukana Buddha & the Independence Square.
• Shopping in Colombo: ODEL Unlimited & BAREFOOT (Excursion will take approx: 2-3Hrs)
• Dinner at a Chinese restaurant in Colombo– Set Menu.
• Overnight in Colombo.

DAY – 6: COLOMBO – AIRPORT (Breakfast)

• Breakfast in hotel, before check-out and proceed to the airport for your onward flight.
